CBG Systems secures contract with BAE Systems Australia
Today marks a proud milestone for the team at CBG Systems.
Our $83m contract with BAE Systems Australia will see our Hobart-based company deliver and install insulation across the first three Hunter Class frigates.
Thank you to our people on our factory floor here in Hobart, to Minister Pat Conroy for visiting us today to announce the contract, Commonwealth officials and David Shepherd and his team at BAE – and for everyone in between who’s helped make this happen.
Programs like the Hunter Class frigate build don’t just deliver capability for the Navy – they build careers, they build supply chains, and they build a manufacturing base that this country will rely on for decades, wherever in Australia that capability happens to be located.
As we continue to grow as a company and expand our footprint and manufacturing capability, we are proud to play our part in strengthening Tasmania’s defence industry.
